When you look in the mirror you feel comfortable that it is you staring back. You feel comforted in the human form. I want to create feelings opposite to this when you view my work I manipulate and shift the idea of identity and create an altered one in the way that I want to see it. A cold and distant one. I want my images to appear distant and out of touch with reality. I want to look beneath the everyday image of the human form and use it as a repressive tool to vent my feelings and ideas.
