Art is a freedom of the mind. You must disregard public opinion. that includes the opinion that public opinion is worth disregarding. You must be free. free to be tangled up. free to be unattached to anything. Free to scream on a subway if that's what you need. Free to be yourself. (BTW screaming on a subway is actually really fun. just pick sometimes between 2-4 in the morning so there is no one else on if your worried about what people will think.)
