Morice LIPSI was a maestro in the art of direct stone cutting (lava, granite, marble?) within the Montparnasse circle, known under the name of ?La Ruche?. His monumental sculptures are engraved within the collective memory, like the famous Olympic column in Grenoble, a 12-metre granite stone, but also in Tokyo, New York, Tel Aviv, Mannheim etc.More than a simple collection, this museum retraces the different influences and stages in the sculptor's creation. This park also offers the visitor the occasion to travel through an important page in the history of sculpture in France.
