Schoeni Art Gallery is proud to present Time: As Quick As An Arrow, joint exhibition by emerging young talents, Zheng Jiang and Fu Ying Ying. Having both graduated from the Masters Degree at the renowned Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2010 under the tutelage of one of China’s greatest contemporary artists, Liu Xiao Dong; Zheng Jiang and Fu Ying Ying are becoming active and much observed members of the Chinese contemporary art scene. In fact, Fu and Zheng are close friends who have shared the same art studio during their final year at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Though predominantly different in style, technique and content, their works are captivating and possess a unique quality in relation to the time-space phenomena. Time: As Quick As An Arrow is not only an exhibition that reveals the vanishing nature of time, but at the same time also resonates and challenges the mysterious directionality and dimensionality of time, taking its audience through a world that transcends the past, the present and the future.
