Established in 1995, Pelita Hati House of Art is a visual arts gallery that is housed in a bungalow at the quieter end of Kuala Lumpur's fashionable Bangsar Baru. The gallery offers artworks of high quality standards and showcases works of prominent contemporary artists. It predominantly promotes Malaysian art and houses an interesting collection of works that range from paintings, sculptures, prints, photography and other art forms created by established, up coming and excitingly new and serious artists. The gallery's art policy encourages new art form collaborations. Its quite surroundings, spacious garden and ample parking, makes the gallery an ideal environment for the interaction and discussion among serious practitioners of art Pelita Hati House of Art is at a forefront of the campaign to promote contemporary art to a broader public. Besides organizing exhibitions, the gallery holds art forums, dialogs and workshops. The gallery has worked with other independent organizations or corporate bodies for the purpose of funding and sponsorship of many Art in Community projects. The gallery services includes the organizing, promoting, and selling of fine art works and artifacts; provides fine art consultancy services and project consultancy to architects, interior designers and individuals.
