The German-born artist is a fixture name in the New York City art scene and is represented by one of the top galleries in New York.The work series bionic angel takes as its starting point the process of transformation and the future technological control of human evolution. Exponential development in the field of so-called ‘G-R-I-N’ technologies (genetics, robotics, information and nano-technologies) means that our bodies, minds, memories and offspring – in short everything that constitutes our human identity – are entering a totally new post-human form of existence.
