The Five Fingers

A collection of latest contemporary art from Myanmar by the region’s five leading artists born in the 1970’s and 1980’s.Their collective group exhibition titled ‘Five Fingers’ has the feel of confidence and vibrancy - a feel that only successful creative artists are able to portray through their late youth, clear cut vision and unblinkered thinking. The group of five paint still life, landscape and life scene in the Burmese style which is clean and uncluttered - each in his or her own inimitable way. They all graduated from either State School of Fine Arts or the University of Fine Art (Yangon) and actively participate in Myanmar and overseas art exhibitions. Ye Aung Myat – “Art is the health of mind”Khine Minn Soe – “I couldn’t resist nature’s beauty”Min Mahaw Moe – “Whatever I want to create is my liking”Saw Lwin Aung – “All olds were news, best creation is best art”Mor Mor – “Art is honest.”
