Hi Brian, How to create an imagination,looking at some art books?It's intersting when you said" let the painting speaks to me".Wow! Not many people can do it and enjoy the painting like you.The most important words you said " I will react with color until the painting is happy".All artist should be have a "feeling "like that.You describe it well..:)
