Having grown up in both the Far East and in the West, I came to appreciate many different forms of Arts: Oriental calligraphy, Sumie, Zen art from the East, and Action painting, Lyrical Abstraction, Tachism and etc from the western art. I appreciate both expressive and contemplative nature of the arts mentioned above, particularly the Zen arts and oriental calligraphy. I love the variety of painterly effect that can be achieved through colour and texture and freedom of expression in the other arts mentioned above, and I enjoy exploring in this field. There’s always something new and unexpected happening in the process of working this way. I hope my love and respect for both culture come through in my work. Above all, I hope it offers some contemplative moment away from the everyday. Studied and trained in Arts in following school: City and Guilds of London Art School, Byam Shaw School of Art, The Camden School of Arts. In 2005, moved to Yvelines, France. Works have been shown mainly in Ile de France area, including Paris, Barbizon, La Defense and Cergy. They are also regularly exhibited in group shows. Currently displayed in Galerie Orsel in Paris. A work was selected and was shown at “The Salon des Artistes Francais” at the Grand Palais in Paris, Nov 2011.
